I've been using Triamcinolone 0.1% Ointment 15gm for my eczema, and while it's helped with the itching and redness, I've started noticing some skin thinning around the application area. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm worried about the long-term effects. I've also been experiencing some mild burning sensation, which is a bit uncomfortable. I'm just wondering if this is normal or if I should talk to my doctor about it. I've read about the more serious side effects like allergic reactions and Cushing's syndrome, but I'm hoping that won't be an issue for me. I really need this to work, but I'm not keen on the idea of dealing with irritating side effects.

So, how long should I use this ointment before seeing any results? I've been using it for about a week and don't see much of a change.

Definitely talk to your doctor. Side effects can vary a lot, and it's better to be safe. Maybe they can adjust the treatment plan if it's causing more problems than it's solving

I've had no problems at all, but everyone's skin is different. Just listen to your body and if something doesn't feel right, stop using it. Always better to be safe!

I think it's great that you're being cautious. Side effects can be scary, and it's always good to double-check with a doctor.
