I was prescribed Synjardy 5-500mg Tablets a few months ago to help manage my type 2 diabetes. It's a combination of empagliflozin and metformin, which work together to lower blood sugar levels. The empagliflozin helps my kidneys remove more sugar through urine, while the metformin improves insulin sensitivity and reduces sugar production in the liver and intestines. I've been generally pleased with the results, but I've also noticed some unexpected weight gain. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this side effect or if there are any tips to mitigate it. I've been trying to adjust my diet and exercise routine, but it's been a slow process. I'm curious to hear about other people's experiences and any advice they might have. I've also been concerned about the potential for low blood sugar, some of the other side effects, and how to manage them.

I've been on Synjardy for a while now and haven't experienced any significant weight gain. Have you talked to your doctor about it? Sometimes, adjusting the dosage can help with side effects.

I switched to Synjardy from metformin alone and noticed a big difference in my blood sugar control. The combination really works, but I did have some stomach issues at first. They went away after a few weeks. Have you tried taking it with food?

Just started Synjardy and I'm terrified of the low blood sugar symptoms. Has anyone found a good way to manage it? I've got glucose tablets on hand, but I'm still nervous.

My doctor mentioned that some people might experience fluid and electrolyte problems. It sounds scary, but I haven't had any issues so far. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

Does anyone else struggle with the nose and throat irritation? It's not too bad, but it's annoying. I've been using some nasal spray to help with it.

Be cautious of the signs of kidney problems. I had a friend who experienced some pretty serious issues and it was really scary. Stay on top of your check-ups.
