Been using Clobetasol 0.05% Foam for my psoriasis for a few weeks now. The redness and swelling are down, but I've been experiencing some weird side effects. I've had a bit of burning and stinging, which isn't pleasant, but I've also noticed some thinning of the skin. Has anyone else had side effects? I’m wondering if I should talk to my doctor about switching medicines or just waiting it out. Any advice or similar experiences would be great.

I've had thinning of the skin too. I've also started to notice some stretch marks, which is pretty scary. I've been using it for a few months and my skin is more sensitive than ever...

Has anyone else felt like their skin has become more sensitive to the sun while using this? I've had some pretty bad sunburns recently, and I never used to burn this easily.

I've had small stretch marks on my skin but nothing too dramatic. I do feel like my skin is more sensitive than before. I’m wondering if there are any other medications or topical creams that work as well as Clobetasol but with fewer side effects?

This thread is scary! I’ve had some side effects, but nothing like what some of you are experiencing. I hope the burning and stinging go away soon, but if it gets really bad, go to the doctor immediately. They might know of other treatments.

Everyone's side effects seem so different. I've had some weird symptoms like flushing and fast breathing but nothing too bad. I think it's important to listen to your body and talk to your doctor if something feels off. If you notice something serious, go to the hospital ASAP.

I've had burning and stinging from the foam. It's not severe, but it's annoying. I've been using it for a few days and thought it would pass. It did, but now I’m noticing some dry patches. Any tips for managing dry skin while on this medication?

I’ve been using it for a week now and haven’t had any major side effects. I've been really careful though, only using it exactly as my doctor prescribed. I apply a thin layer twice a day and avoid contact with my eyes and mouth. It’s been a game-changer for my eczema; I hope you find relief soon!

I had a severe allergic reaction to Clobetasol. Swelling of the mouth, throat, all of it. It was terrifying, but my friend advised me to stop using it immediately. It was a problem my doctor missed. Be careful with this stuff!

I've had no issues with the foam, but my friend who uses it for eczema has had terrible headaches. She's actually switching to a different treatment. Have you tried any other creams for psoriasis?

I think the most annoying side effect for me has been the thining of the skin. I've also noticed some pimples, which is just the cherry on top. Been trying some moisturizers to help with the dryness but nothing seems to work. I wonder if anyone else tried a different steroid topical to deal with side effects?
