I've been prescribed Viokace 20880 Tablets to help with digestion issues due to pancreatitis. It's been a few weeks, and while it seems to be helping with digestion, I've been experiencing some interesting side effects. Mine were pretty severe at first. I had a lot of abdominal pain. I also had a lot of gas and bloating.
This is spot on with my experience. I had a lot of bloating, gas, and abdominal pain. I had to take them with meals and snacks, so I was popping pills constantly.
I've been taking Viokace for about a year now, and I've had a mix of experiences. At first, I had some bad stomach pain, but that went away after a few weeks. Recently, I've been getting some headaches, but they're manageable. I've also had some constipation, but I've found that drinking more water helps a lot. I take them with omeprazole every morning - if you start to feel any side effects, take note of it in a journal and show your doctor.
I've been on Viokace for a while now. The dizziness was bad at first, but it eventually went away. Just make sure you're taking it with food and not on an empty stomach.
I had really bad abdominal pain and I worry about what it could lead to. I did have trouble with my gallbladder a few years back. How common are gallstones with Viokace?
If you get symptoms of fibrosing colonopathy, like bloating and constipation, don't ignore it. Call your doctor immediately.
