I was prescribed Prednisolone ODT 15mg Tablets for my severe eczema, and while it's been effective in managing my symptoms, I've been experiencing some jitteriness and unexplained anxiety. My doctor can't seem to pinpoint the cause, and I'm starting to worry about the long-term effects. The side effects listed in the leaflet seem alarming. Has anyone else experienced similar issues or knows someone who has? How do you cope with the side effects? I'm tired of feeling like this but desperate for my eczema to clear up. Do any of you have tips that can help?

I had a friend who took this for a while and ended up with a moon face. It was pretty scary. Make sure you keep a close eye on any changes in your appearance.

I was on it for a few months and now I can't stop sweating. It's like my body forgot how to regulate temperature. How do you cope with this? Are there any tips or tricks that helped others aside from the obvious? I'm really struggling right now.

Have you considered trying a topical steroid for your eczema? Might be worth a shot instead of the oral kind

I've been on and off Prednisolone for years due to my autoimmune disorder. The key is to communicate openly with your doctor about any side effects you're experiencing. They can adjust your dosage or switch you to a different medication if needed. It's a balancing act, but it's manageable with the right support.

I feel your pain. I had horrible stomach issues when I started taking it for my asthma. My doctor switched me to a different form of steroid and I haven't looked back. It seems to me that the ODT tablets are harder on your stomach. I suggest talking to your doctor about trying a different form, if possible.

I've been on Prednisolone for a while now, and I've had some sleep disturbances. It's been tough, but I've found that taking it in the morning helps a bit. Also, my doctor recommended a low dose of melatonin to help with sleep. It's not perfect, but it's manageable. Talk to your doc about it!

I was on Prednisolone for about a year for my lupus. The side effects were brutal, but my doctor monitored me closely and adjusted the dosage as needed. The weight gain and mood swings were the worst. Watching your diet and exercising regularly can help with the weight gain. As for the mood swings, just know that it's temporary and try to ride it out. It might help to have a support system in place. Be sure to schedule regular check-ups with your doctor to manage the side effects effectively.
