I've been using Lumigan 0.01% Ophth Soln 5ml for a few months now to manage my glaucoma, and I've noticed some changes in my eye color. I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but I think my eyes are turning a bit brown. I'm a bit worried about this since I've read that it might be a side effect. Has anyone else gone through this? Is it permanent? I'd love to hear your experiences and any advice you might have. I am planning to talk to my doctor but want to know what others have experienced.

I never experienced this myself, but my friend did. She says it was a bit unsettling, but her doctor said it was normal. Just make sure to keep an eye on it and you'll be fine.

I've heard about this side effect, but I thought it was rare. It's good to know others have experienced it. Definitely keep track and talk to your doctor. Take lots of eye drop breaks.

I had the same issue. My eyes turned brown mostly in the dark circle regions. It was alarming, but my doctor reassured me it was a common side effect. I'm keeping an eye on it, but so far, no other problems.

I've been using Lumigan for a few months and haven't noticed any changes in my eye color. But I do have dryness. It might be different for everyone? I look for other remedies to manage this side effect.

As long as my eye pressure is under control, I'm willing to deal with the side effects. I think it's worth it.

I've been using Lumigan for over a year now and I've noticed my eye color has changed, but my doctor says it's normal. It might take a while, but it could potentially revert back. Don't worry too much, but def follow up with your doctor.

Eye color changes might be rare, but with Lumigan, they are more common. My eye doctor told me this happens, and my eyes turned brownish too. As long as you are aware and comfortable, it's generally not a huge concern.

Has anyone tried using artificial tears to help with the dryness? I've heard it can help manage some of the side effects.

Eye color changes are one thing, but the burning sensation from the drops is another! It feels like someone is pouring hot coals in my eyes. I suppose I'll get used to it, but the best is too harsh for me.

I switched to a different medication because of the eye color change. It was too alarming for me, and I didn't want to deal with the uncertainty. Talk to your doctor about other options if you're not comfortable.
