I've recently started taking Binosto 70mg Effervescent Tablets to help with my osteoporosis and was warned about the potential side effects, particularly jawbone problems. Has anyone else had experience with this issue? What have you done to mitigate it? And if you've had any other side effects, how have you dealt with them?

I'm also curious about anyone's experience with managing osteoporosis in general, and how effective they've found Binosto to be.

I had these weird muscle pains and numbness around three weeks in. My doc said it could be a calcium issue and upped my dose of calcium supplements. Feels much better now.

I've been taking Binosto for about a year now and haven't had any jawbone issues, but I do make sure to see my dentist regularly. I've also been taking calcium supplements to help with any side effects. Surgery is scary so I've been sticking to this routine!

Honestly, I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the mouth sores. I get them every time I take Binosto. It's annoying but I'd rather deal with that than risk a broken bone.

I haven't had any issues, but I have a friend who got really bad muscle spasms. She had to switch to another medication. Just be aware of the signs and talk to your doctor if something feels off.

I had a really bad reaction to Binosto. I got a rash and started having trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER and they told me to stop taking it immediately. It was scary, but I'm glad I got help right away.

I’ve been on Binosto for a while and haven't experienced any jaw pain, but I'm careful to take it as directed and report anything unusual. It’s really helped my bone density. Love the effervescent tablets, though—makes it way easier to swallow.
