I've been on Lisinopril 2.5mg for a couple of months now to manage my high blood pressure. Overall, it seems to be doing the job, but I've developed a persistent cough that's quite frustrating. I've read that this can be a side effect, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if it goes away after some time. Also, has anyone found any remedies or tricks to deal with it? I think you should give it some more time. My mom was on Lisinopril and she had a cough for a while, but it eventually went away. It can take a bit for your body to adjust to new meds. Good luck!
