I was recently prescribed Albuked 5% Albumin Injection (250ml) to help replace lost fluid and increase blood volume. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm wondering if anyone has had personal experiences with them. Specifically, I'm concerned about the urgent side effects like allergic reactions, high blood pressure, and fluid/electrolyte problems. How common are these? Has anyone had to deal with them, and if so, what was it like? What precautions should I take while on this medication?

Mine has been good so far. No side effects. Maybe I’m just lucky.

I was prescribed it after a bout of severe dehydration and honestly, it was a bit of a nightmare. I felt like passing out most of the time and I never want to go through that again. I have to say, it is a handy thing to have in your medicine cabinet.

I was on Albuked for a few weeks and didn't experience any severe side effects, but I did notice some mild dizziness. I had to take it easy for a bit and stay hydrated. It’s important to monitor your fluid intake closely while on this medication. Be cautious and listen to your body.

I had to use this after a surgery and I had no issues at all. But my friend had some swelling and had to stop taking it. Just keep an eye on your symptoms and talk to your doctor if anything seems off.

This stuff is a lifesaver when you need it, but the side effects can be nasty. If you start feeling really off, don’t wait it out—go to the hospital. Better safe than sorry.

I had no issues at all, but my mom had some trouble. Her blood pressure spiked and she had to stop. It’s a bit different for everyone.

I've seen a few patients who had to deal with electrolyte imbalances. It can be managed, but it's important to follow up with your doctor regularly. If you feel unusually tired or weak, it might be a sign something is off.
