I had this medication before and I felt really weak and tired. I also had a sore throat the whole time I was on it. It was awful. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. I’m never getting this stuff again.
I had a friend who got C. diff from Ampicillin. It was horrible—she was in the hospital for weeks. Please, if you start having severe diarrhea, get to a doctor ASAP. It's not worth the risk.
I didn't experience any side effects, but my doctor warned me about the possibility of C. diff. I'm glad I didn't get it, but it's something to keep in mind.
I had a seizure while on Ampicillin. I had no idea it could cause that. Turns out, it’s a rare but possible side effect. Be careful, folks. If you experience any of these symptoms, get to a doctor right away.
