I was prescribed Asmanex 110mcg Oral Twisthaler for my asthma, and I've been using it for about a month now. While it seems to help with my symptoms, I'm a bit worried about some of the serious side effects listed in the documentation. Has anyone else had any issues? I'm particularly concerned about the respiratory problems mentioned. I've had a few instances where I felt like I had trouble breathing, but it's hard to tell if it's just anxiety or a reaction to the medication. I've also noticed some slight throat irritation, which is listed as a common side effect, but it's still a bit unnerving. Has anyone had any long-term effects from using this medication? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Severe breathing problems? That's terrifying. I think I'll stick with my current medication and avoid Asmanex.

I think it's important to mention that everyone's body reacts differently to medications. While some people might not experience any side effects, others might have severe reactions. Always consult with your doctor before starting any new medication, especially if you have a history of allergies or other medical conditions. And remember, as with any medication, it's important to take it as prescribed and not to stop taking it without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.

I switched to Asmanex from another inhaled corticosteroid and noticed a significant reduction in my asthma symptoms. However, I did experience some throat irritation and mild hoarseness initially. It subsided after a couple of weeks. My doctor advised using a spacer to ensure the medication goes directly into my lungs, which seemed to help. Just be cautious and monitor your symptoms closely, and don't hesitate to contact your healthcare provider if you experience any severe reactions.

Don't forget to clean your Twisthaler regularly. It can get clogged and affect the dose you're getting. It's a simple step but can make a big difference in how well the medication works for you.

I've been on Asmanex for a few years and haven't had any serious side effects. I did get a bit of a headache at first, but it went away after a week or so. Just make sure you use it regularly and keep your rescue inhaler handy.

I've been using Asmanex for a while and the only side effect I've noticed is a bit of a headache every now and then. Nothing major, but it's something to keep an eye on. It's definitely helped with my asthma, though.

I was really worried about the side effects too, but my doctor assured me that they are rare. I've been using Asmanex for about six months now and haven't had any issues. Just be consistent with your doses and keep track of your symptoms.

I had a friend who got really sick from Asmanex. Maybe it's worth trying a different type of inhaler?

I had a really bad reaction to Asmanex. I started getting severe throat irritation and then developed a weird rash. I stopped taking it and the symptoms went away. Turns out, I'm allergic to the active ingredient.
