I've been prescribed Atacand HCT 32-12.5mg Tablets for high blood pressure and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. The medication contains Candesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, which together help lower blood pressure. However, the list of serious side effects is concerning, including allergic reactions, high blood sugar, and even kidney problems. I'm wondering if anyone else has experience with this medication and if you've had any issues with serious side effects? What should I look out for? Is it worth the risk?

I had to stop taking Atacand HCT because it caused some weird skin reactions. I ended up with a rash all over my body. Turns out, I'm allergic to Hydrochlorothiazide. It was a relief to finally figure it out, though. It's definitely worth talking to your doctor about any unusual symptoms.

I had a bad reaction to the Hydrochlorothiazide part of the drug. I started experiencing severe dizziness and fatigue, and my doctor had to switch me to a different medication. It's important to listen to your body and talk to your doctor if something feels off.

I think it's crucial to stay on top of your health checks when you're on this medication. My doctor recommended regular blood tests and check-ups to monitor my kidney function and electrolyte levels. It's a bit of a hassle, but it's worth it for peace of mind.

I had to stop taking Atacand HCT because it was making me extremely thirsty all the time. It was weird—like I couldn't quench my thirst no matter how much I drank. My doc switched me to something else and the problem went away.

I really hate the diuretic part of the pills. I have to pee every hour. Is there anything I can do about this?
