I've been prescribed Atomoxetine 80mg Capsules to manage my ADHD, and while I'm hopeful about the potential benefits, I'm also a bit concerned about the side effects. The medication guide lists some serious side effects like liver problems, high blood pressure, and even hallucinations. I've heard that these are rare, but it's still worrying. Has anyone else tried this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad, and any tips on managing side effects.

I've been on Atomoxetine for a few months now, and while I haven't experienced any of the serious side effects, I did have some initial trouble with constipation and upset stomach. Drinking plenty of water and taking a stool softener in the early weeks helped. And of course, always monitor your health, and if you feel like something isn't right, contact your doctor immediately.

Definitely agree with staying in touch with your docs. I experienced a bit of stomach discomfort. I found that eating smaller, more frequent meals helped a lot. Your mileage may vary, but it's worth a shot.

I had some issues with decreased appetite and dry mouth. Drinking a lot of water and chewing gum helped with the dry mouth, but I had to talk to my doctor about adjusting my dosage to manage the appetite issues.

I think the key is to stay in close contact with your doctor and report any side effects immediately. Atomoxetine has helped me immensely, and I'd rather deal with some minor side effects than struggle with ADHD symptoms.

I switched to Atomoxetine after years of struggling with stimulant medications. It's been a lot better for me, honestly. I do get a bit tired sometimes, but it's manageable. I'd still be on stimulants if this wasn't an option.

Wow, I had no idea about the potential for hallucinations. Thank God I'm not on this stuff. I'd rather manage without medication.

I had to stop Atomoxetine because it really messed with my libido. It's a tough call. My doctor said it affects everyone differently, so just be aware.
