I went through the same thing. Best advice: eat well, rest well and you have a better chance of healing well. These procedures are stressful and your body will try to tell you it needs good care. Listen to it. And if your doc isn't listening to you? Find one who will.

I've had quite a different experience. I was given Bivalirudin during my angioplasty and did not experience any side effects. Just a bit of bruising, which is normal. I think it's important to stay calm and follow your doctor's instructions. If you do experience side effects, contact your doctor immediately.

I had a rough time with Bivalirudin. I started feeling extremely weak and dizzy a few hours after the procedure. Went to the ER, and they ran some tests. Turns out, my platelet count was really low. Doc switched me to a different med and I felt better pretty quickly. Just listen to your body and get help if something doesn't feel right.

And how does one even pronounce Bivalirudin? That's one serious word! Anyway, I had some bruising and it was a nuisance, but nothing major happened to me.

I had this during my angioplasty and experienced some mild bruising, but nothing severe. My doctor said it was pretty common and nothing to worry about. Keep an eye on your bruises though they can get worse before getting better.
