Has anyone experienced severe side effects from Calan 40mg Tablets?
I've been prescribed Calan 40mg Tablets for hypertension and chest pain. The doctor said it helps relax blood vessels and slow down your heart rate. I've read about some severe side effects, including signs of an allergic reaction, liver problems, and abnormal heartbeats. Has anyone else taken this medication and experienced any of these issues? I'm feeling a bit anxious about starting it.

I've had some issues with shortness of breath, but my doctor said it's just my body adjusting to the medication. Hope it works out for you!
I can’t believe some of the side effects. I’d probably be too scared to even take them, but if they help your heart, it might be worth it. Definitely keep a log of your symptoms!

I've been on it for over a year and I've had no problems at all. Just make sure you don't miss any doses and drink plenty of water. Keep a list of the side effects and monitor yourself.
I've been on Calan for a few months now, and it's been great for my blood pressure. No severe side effects here, but I did experience some dizziness at first. It went away after a few weeks.
