I've been taking Cozaar 25mg Tablets for my high blood pressure for about a month now. I've heard some scary stories about the side effects, especially the urgent ones like allergic reactions or kidney problems. Has anyone else had any issues with this medication? I'm particularly worried about the potential kidney problems, since I have a family history of kidney disease. I've been monitoring my urine output and blood pressure at home, but I'm still a bit anxious. Has anyone had any issues with this medication? What was your experience? What did your doctor suggest? I feel like I need to know more about what I can realistically expect.

I've been on Cozaar for a few years now and haven't had any major issues. I did have some dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. As always, consult your doctor if you have serious concerns.

I had a friend who took Cozaar and ended up in the hospital with kidney problems. But the important thing to note is that he also had a history of kidney issues. I think it's really important to monitor your health closely if you have any pre-existing conditions. I'm not saying Cozaar caused his problems, but it's always better to be safe. I wouldn't let this stop you from taking it — ask your doctor what steps you can take to keep an eye on your kidneys.

I had to stop taking Cozaar because of the weird allergic reaction. I could barely breathe. It was a bit scary, but I switched to something else and everything is fine now. Still, I'm glad I had the reaction when I did rather than later. Honestly, it was one of the worst feelings in my life. I'm not saying it will happen to you, but just be careful of changes in your body and don't panic if it does.

I've heard that some people have trouble passing urine. That's a scary one. I think I'll stick with my current meds. I have a very low pain tolerance and I don't want to risk any adverse effects.

I switched to Cozaar from another blood pressure medication because I was having some nasty side effects. I'm really glad I did because it's been a lifesaver. However, be aware that everyone reacts to drugs differently, so what works for me might not work for you. You should always report any issues you have to your doctor, though.

I have had to stop taking Cozaar 3 times in the past 5 years. First time was because of weight gain. Second was a severe rash all over my body and the third was a severe skin reaction. When I stopped taking them my body went back to normal almost immediately. I told my doctor about these allergic reactions and she said that it can happen. She switched my meds to something else and I haven't had any issues since.

I had a bad experience with Cozaar and actually ended up in the ER because of some severe dizziness. I couldn't stop fainting, and it got to the point where I could barely function. But I had a good doctor who switched me to something else after that, so I can't complain. You should definitely keep a close eye on your health, though.

I also found Cozaar too hard on my system. My doctor prescribed a lower dose and it got much better. I'd suggest talking to your doctor about it. It's important to keep communication open with your doctor, especially when it comes to side effects.
