Has anyone experienced severe side effects from Dexamethasone 0.5mg/5ml Oral Soln?
I've been prescribed Dexamethasone 0.5mg/5ml Oral Soln for an allergic reaction, and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. The list is quite long and concerning. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. I'm particularly worried about the serious side effects listed. How common are they really? And what should I do if I experience any of them? Also, are there any tips for managing the more common side effects like nausea or trouble sleeping?

I took it for a week and had no issues. I had a bad headache on the last day, but it was probably just from the stress. My doctor recommended taking it with food, so that might help with side effects.
If you experience any trouble breathing or severe pain, go to the ER immediately. Don't mess around with these symptoms. Be safe!
I've heard some scary stories about this one. The side effects list is really long – just be careful and listen to your body.
I've taken it a few times and haven't had any issues at all. Everyone's different, so don't worry too much. Just keep an eye out for any serious symptoms.
I had trouble sleeping and felt really restless when I took it, but it was worth it to get rid of the allergy symptoms. Just take it with food and it might help with the nausea.
I've taken Dexamethasone before for an allergic reaction, and I didn't experience any serious side effects. Just some nausea and trouble sleeping, but it was manageable. Drink plenty of water and avoid caffeine before bed.
