I was prescribed Fosinopril-HCTZ 10mg/12.5mg Tablets for high blood pressure, but I'm worried about the potential side effects. The medication combines fosinopril and hydrochlorothiazide to lower blood pressure, but the list of possible side effects is quite long and scary. I've read about allergic reactions, kidney problems, and even eye issues. Has anyone else taken this medication? What was your experience like? Did you encounter any of the side effects listed, or were you able to take it without any issues? I want to make sure I'm informed before starting this treatment.

You need to be careful with this med. My mom took it and had to go to the hospital because of severe dizziness. They had to adjust her dosage and monitor her electrolyte levels. She's doing better now, but it was scary at the time.

I’ve been on Fosinopril-HCTZ for a few months now, and I haven’t had any major issues. I did get a persistent cough at first, but my doctor said it's a common side effect and shouldn't be a cause for concern if my blood pressure is under control. Just make sure you stay hydrated, as the diuretic can make you lose a lot of water.

I definitely noticed changes in my urine output at first, but it stabilized after a couple of weeks. I was also very careful about staying hydrated and avoiding a lot of salt in my diet, which helped a lot.

I would highly recommend to talk to your doctor regarding the side effects you might encounter.

I had to switch to something else because of the cough. I was on it for a month, and it was so annoying. I couldn't sleep because it was so persistent. But otherwise, it seemed to work for my high blood pressure
