I've been prescribed Granisetron 1mg/ml Inj, 1ml to help manage nausea and vomiting during my chemotherapy treatments. I've heard some people have experienced severe side effects and I'm quite nervous. For those who have taken it, how was your experience? Did you face any of the urgent side effects mentioned, like allergic reactions or serotonin syndrome? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

For anyone having side effects, they make a syrup form in a lot of places, just ask your pharmacist or doctor about it!

I had the common side effects but nothing major. It was all worth it for the relief from nausea and vomiting during chemo. I'd recommend it to anyone in the same situation.

I took Granisetron during my chemo and didn't experience any severe side effects. Just a bit of dizziness and headache but nothing too bad. You'll probably be fine, but talk to your doctor about any worries you have.

I read that serotonin syndrome is pretty rare, but it's scary. Make sure you're aware of the symptoms and inform your healthcare team immediately if you suspect anything. Good luck with your treatment!

Granisetron worked well for my dad during his treatment. He did get a bit sleepy, but it was much better than the alternative. I think the side effects are manageable if monitored closely.

I had some trouble breathing after taking it and called 911, didn't know it could be due to the medicine until my doctor told me. Make sure you have emergency contact numbers handy.

I had a mild allergic reaction—just some hives and itching. My doc switched me to another med, and it was smooth sailing after that. Don't hesitate to get help if you notice anything.
