I've been using Halobetasol 0.05% Cream for the past few weeks to manage my psoriasis. The cream has been effective in reducing redness and itching, but I've been a bit worried about the potential side effects. I've read the list of urgent side effects, and it's quite concerning. Has anyone here experienced any of these severe side effects? If so, what was your experience like, and how did you cope with it?

It's also interesting to note that the list of possible side effects is quite long. Most people don't experience severe side effects and many have no side effects or only minor ones. However, if you notice any of the following side effects or any other unusual symptoms, contact your doctor or seek medical attention. Anyone have any experiences to share?

I think people need to be more aware of the potential side effects. It's not just about the effectiveness; safety is just as important.

I had some really bad allergic reactions to this stuff, and the doc told me to avoid it from then on.

I wish I could find a topical that doesn't have so many scary side-effects. This stuff is super strong, so I think it's important to be vigilant.

I had some issues with thinning skin. It kind of freaked me out, so I talked to my doc and switched to a lower potency cream.

I’ve never had any side effects, but I make sure to use it sparingly and only on the affected areas. Also, I always apply a thin layer and rinse off after a short period.

I had a friend who used this and ended up with some weird skin changes. It was pretty scary, so she had to stop using it.
