Has anyone experienced severe side effects from HC Pramoxine 2.5-1% Cream for hemorrhoids?
I've been using HC Pramoxine 2.5-1% Cream for my hemorrhoids, and it has been helping with the discomfort. However, I've been reading about the potential side effects and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced any of the severe ones mentioned, like allergic reactions or signs of a weak adrenal gland. I'm especially worried about the signs of Cushing's syndrome and high blood sugar. Has anyone had any of these issues, or is it generally safe to use? Also, what are the most common side effects people encounter? I want to be prepared if something comes up.

I had a bad reaction to it. I got hives and had trouble breathing. Went to the ER and they told me to stop using it immediately. I think I'll stick to other treatments.
I had some irritation at the application site, but it went away after a few days. I'd say it's worth trying if you're desperate for relief, but definitely be cautious.
I've heard mixed things about this cream, but it's not fair to say it's all bad. YMMV.
I had muscle weakness and fatigue. It was weird because I didn't really feel like myself. I'm not sure if it was from the cream, but it's definitely something to look out for.
I've had hemorrhoids for years and have tried a lot of creams. This one worked better than most, but I did get some redness and swelling which was annoying.
