I've been taking Irbesartan/hctz 300-12.5mg Tablets for a few months now to manage my high blood pressure. Overall, it seems to be doing the job, but I've been feeling a bit dizzy and weak lately. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar side effects or if there are any tips for managing them. Does anyone else take this medication and can offer some advice? I'd also be interested to know if there are any long-term effects that I should be aware of. I want to make sure I'm taking my medication safely and effectively. Any advice would be appreciated.

I've been on this combo for years and have only experienced minor dizziness at the start. It went away after a few weeks. Make sure you're drinking enough water and staying hydrated, it helps a lot.

I've had some issues with skin cancer risk. I know it's rare, but it's something to be aware of. Make sure you're protecting your skin from the sun and getting regular check-ups.

Be careful, man. I had a friend who took this and ended up with some serious kidney issues. Make sure you're getting regular check-ups and monitoring your kidney function.

I've heard that some people have issues with electrolyte imbalances. Make sure you're staying hydrated and eating a balanced diet to help your body adjust to the medication.

I've been taking this for a while and haven't had any major issues. I did notice some changes in my vision, though. Nothing major, but it's something to keep an eye on. If you notice any changes in your eyesight or experience any eye pain, definitely get it checked out. Eye problems are listed as a potential side effect, so don't ignore it.

Try cutting back on salt and caffeine

Dizziness and weakness are common with these meds, but if it's getting worse, definitely talk to your doctor. They might adjust the dosage or switch you to a different med. Don't just power through it.
