I was prescribed Ondansetron for nausea during chemotherapy, and I've read about some serious side effects. Has anyone else had bad experiences with this medication? I'm curious about how common the severe side effects are, especially serotonin syndrome. My doctor didn't seem too concerned, but I'm worried.

The most annoying side effect was the constipation. I was dreading it more than the nausea. I don’t know if that was just me, though.

My doctor warned me about serotonin syndrome, but I never experienced it. I did get a headache, but nothing too bad.

I had Ondansetron during my chemo treatments. I only had mild dizziness, nothing major, so don’t be too worried. Still, it’s good to be aware of the serious side effects. But the thought that it can cause a prolonged QT interval is intimidating.

Like one of the side effects could be anxiety. That's a scary one to think about, especially when you're already dealing with a serious illness.

I didn't have any major side effects, just a bit of sleepiness. I felt much better overall. So, I guess everyone reacts to it differently.

It’s strange that a medicine that prevents nausea can also cause stomach pain. But hey, at least it works well for most people.
