I was recently administered Phenylephrine 10mg/ml Inj, 5ml during a surgical procedure to raise my blood pressure. The medication worked as intended, but I'm concerned about the potential side effects. The list of severe side effects is quite long and frightening, including signs of an allergic reaction, high blood pressure, chest pain, and even kidney problems. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences and how they managed any side effects that arose. It's also interesting to note that there are many other possible side effects, like dizziness, headaches, and upset stomach, which seem more common but still concerning. Has anyone had to deal with these, and how did you cope?

I had a similar experience with Phenylephrine. After my surgery, I felt dizzy and restless. It was tough to sleep that night. My doctor reassured me these are common side effects. Just make sure to stay hydrated and rest as much as you can. Also take some over the counter pain relievers, they helped a lot.

I had some chest pain after taking this. It was scary, but the doctors managed it well. Just be vigilant and communicate with your healthcare team.

I've heard this drug can cause some serious issues. Make sure you report anything that seems off to your healthcare provider.

When it comes to surgery, you got to do what you got to do. But man, this stuff is no joke. Just make sure you’re in good hands.

This reminds me of my experience with a friend who received phenylephrine. He noticed some tissue damage at the injection site. If you notice any redness, burning, pain, swelling, or any other unusual symptoms, don't hesitate to inform your nurse. Better safe than sorry!

Please be careful and report any severe side effects to your doctor immediately. I had a friend who developed a severe allergic reaction to it. Scary stuff.

I had some blurred vision and my blood pressure was all over the place. My doc said it's normal, and it went away in a few hours, but it was definitely scary while it lasted. Also, my stomach was sore for a few days.

It's crazy how something that helps can also have such severe side effects. But I guess that's medication for you. Just stay alert and talk to your doctor if anything bad happens.

This stuff is strong. I felt like I was on a roller coaster of blood pressure changes. Make sure your doctor is monitoring you closely. It's no joke.
