I've been prescribed Poly-Iron 150 Forte Capsules to treat my iron deficiency anemia, but I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication and experienced serious issues like allergic reactions or severe stomach problems? The list of possible side effects is pretty long. I'm wondering if anyone has had a positive experience with this supplement without dealing with the usual challenges like constipation or vomiting. I would appreciate any advice on how to manage any possible side effects or if there are any tips to help me deal with them.

I've heard that taking Vitamin C along with iron can help with absorption. Might be worth a shot to see if it helps with side effects.

Anemia sucks! I hated this meds, but it did kick the anemia, would definitely take again, but hopefully I won't need another round

I felt sick every time I took them. I just switched to a liquid iron supplement and it's been much better. Worth a shot if pills aren't working out.

I haven't had any issues so far. I take them with food and that seems to help. Definitely talk to your doctor if you have any concerns!

I had a bad reaction to these pills. I started breaking out in hives and had to stop taking them. My doctor switched me to a different iron supplement, and I've been fine since.

I wish I had known about the green stool side effect. I freaked out when I saw it but nothing serious.

Just a heads up, these pills can cause some serious constipation. I had to up my fiber intake to keep things moving.

I've been on Poly-Iron 150 for a few months now. I didn't have any serious side effects, but the constipation was tough at first. Drinking plenty of water and adding a stool softener helped a lot.
