Has anyone experienced severe side effects from Pramipexole 1.5mg Tablets for RLS or Parkinson's?
I recently started taking Pramipexole 1.5mg Tablets for my Restless Legs Syndrome. I've heard it can have some serious side effects, so I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced anything unexpected. Anything from sudden sleepiness to changes in posture. Also very concerned about the urgent side effects that require medical help. I'd appreciate any insights or advice from those who have been on this medication. Thanks!

I've read that sudden sleepiness can be an issue. Maybe consider taking it before bed instead of in the morning.
I've heard horror stories about the uncontrollable urges. Gambling, shopping—they're no joke. I hope that part doesn't hit you.
I've been on it for a while and haven't had any major issues. Just the usual sleepiness and dizziness, nothing too bad. If you can control these, this is a pretty good medication.
If you start experiencing any of the severe side effects, don't wait it out. Get to a doctor right away. Better safe than sorry.
I've been on Pramipexole for over a year now for Parkinson's. The biggest issue I've had is the sudden sleepiness. I'd fall asleep mid-conversation sometimes. Scary stuff. Make sure you talk to your doctor about it.
