I never noticed any side effects, but I do feel like it helped my high cholesterol. My doc says I should be more careful about my diet and exercise too. Blood tests are mandatory.
I stopped taking it because of muscle pain. It was weird to hear but my doc said it can happen. Now I'm on a different statin, no issues so far.
I had a bit of stomach upset when I first started, but it went away after a few weeks. Definitely worth it for the cholesterol reduction.
Statins are a blessing. But you can't just rely on them. Always watch your cholesterol and other health markers.
Ask your doctor about switching to a different statin if the side effects are too rough. There are other options out there.

I've read up on a bunch of drugs and this one is like the weakest of the statins. You could consider taking a more effective statin and being more careful
