I've been prescribed Prednisolone 15mg/5ml Solution for my ongoing eczema and I'm having trouble finding information about the severity of its side effects. Allergies have flared up badly in the past, and now I'm experiencing some anxiety about the potential risks. Can anyone share their experience or advice on managing these side effects? I'm particularly concerned about the possibility of developing Cushing's syndrome or experiencing adverse reactions like high blood sugar. Is it something I should watch out for specifically? I'm curious if the side effects can be mitigated with a specific diet or lifestyle changes.

I've heard that some people have had issues with their vision changing. It scared me to think about it, but I've not had any issues. I think if you are worried, just know it happens, but it shouldn't be permanent. Talk to your doctor about it.

Prednisolone saved me during my flare-up, but I had some nasty stomach issues. If you experience any of these side effects, don't be a hero and just call your doctor.

I had a bad reaction to Prednisolone. I developed acute Cushing's syndrome symptoms, including a moon face and severe headaches. It was terrible. Seek medical attention immediately if you experience similar symptoms! They had to stop the treatment and switch me to something else.

Just saying, the weight gain is real. And the sleep disturbances are no joke. I was up all night one time, and I was lucky to get any sleep at all. Take care of yourselves, folks.
