Has anyone experienced severe side effects from Synthroid 0.175mg (175mcg) tablets?
I've been taking Synthroid 0.175mg (175mcg) tablets for a few months now to manage my hypothyroidism. I've heard about some serious side effects, but I'm wondering if anyone has actually experienced them? The list is pretty long and a bit scary. I've had some mild hairloss, but that's it so far. Has anyone else had similar experiences?

I've had some muscle cramps and weakness, but nothing too bad. I've found that staying hydrated and taking magnesium supplements has helped a lot.
What dosage are you on? Sometimes going a little lower can reduce side effects. I went from 0.175 to 0.15 and felt much better.
I've been on Synthroid for years and I've never had any serious side effects. Just the occasional hair loss, but it always grows back. Hang in there!
I started feeling really nervous and restless after I began taking Synthroid. My doctor adjusted the dosage, and it got better. Make sure to talk to your doctor if you feel something's off!
I find that taking it in the morning on an empty stomach really helps with any stomach issues. Might be worth a try?
