Has anyone experienced severe side effects from taking Lo Loestrin FE birth control pills?
I've been taking Lo Loestrin FE for the past 2 months and have noticed some changes in my mood and menstrual cycle. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or if anyone has dealt with any serious side effects like blood clots or vision changes. Should I be concerned, or is this just part of the adjustment period? I'm thinking of switching brands.

I've been on similar pills before, and honestly, the side effects can be horrible. But everyone's body is different. Keep talking to your doctor and hope for the best.
I've been on Lo Loestrin FE for a year and had some spotting and headaches initially, but nothing too bad. I'd stick it out a bit longer.
If its the headaches that are worrying you, I found that taking aspirin helped. Hope you feel better soon.
I had a friend who switched to this pill from another BC and she swears by it. She said it's fantastic. You could always try a different pill.
I took it for a couple of months and noticed no changes. Then I switched to another brand, and I started feeling dizzy. It might be worth trying another brand.
