I've been on Tecfidera for about six months now, and while it seems to be helping with my MS symptoms, I've been experiencing some pretty intense flushing and stomach issues. I've read that these are common side effects, but I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with more severe problems like allergic reactions or liver issues. I've been scouring the internet for more insights and anecdotes from others who've been through this but haven't found much. What has your experience been like with this medication? Also, how often do you experience flushing or stomach pain?

Tecfidera has been a game-changer for me. My relapses have decreased significantly, and I haven't had any major side effects. Just the occasional flushing, which is totally worth it.

I take Tecfidera and have experienced flushing and diarrhea, but not to the level of stopping treatment. My neurologist recommended taking it with food and drinking ice-cold water and blueberries. It definitely helped. But I have had to take a couple of days off from work because of the severity of the flushing.

I got really lucky with Tecfidera. No flushing, no stomach issues, and my MS seems to be in check. I know everyone's experience is different, but I'm grateful mine has been so positive.

I've been struggling with the idea of getting back on Tecfidera. I quit because the flushing was intolerable and anytime anyone asked if I was allergic to anything I would say, “No, but I just went from highlighter orange to tomato red.” Because I was having so many problems the neurologist took me off Tecfidera. But then I started having so many relapses with MS, because I was not medicated properly. So, now I am considering getting back on Tecfidera, even though I am not sure.

I've been on Tecfidera for a few years now, and while the flushing can be annoying, I've found that taking it with food helps a lot. I've also experienced some stomach issues, but they're usually manageable.

I've been on Tecfidera for about a year and a half now, and while the flushing can be really uncomfortable, it's nothing compared to the MS relapses I was having before. I've had some mild stomach issues, but it's definitely worth it to me. Do I get flushing qhen I am sick or running around outside? No, but the medicine helps.

I switched to Tecfidera from another MS drug because of severe side effects, but this stuff is no picnic either. Between the flushing, stomach pain, and all the weird stuff feels like. I am not sure what to do.

I was really worried about the flushing, but my doctor recommended getting cold drinks ready. Having water and juice on hand can really help
