Has anyone experienced severe side effects from using Prevident 5000 Bstr Plus Paste/mint?
I was prescribed Prevident 5000 Bstr Plus Paste/mint by my dentist to help prevent cavities and strengthen my tooth enamel. It's supposed to make your teeth more resistant to the acid attacks that cause decay. However, I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects, especially the severe ones like allergic reactions or severe stomach upset. Has anyone else used this and experienced any of these issues? I want to make sure I'm not missing any important information before I start using this toothpaste. I don't know if this is a common or rare toothpaste yet but if it is, I want to hear your thoughts as well.

I felt a slight tingling sensation in my mouth after using it for the first time. It went away after a few minutes. I didn't think it was a big deal, but I'm glad to know that others are experiencing similar things. If it gets worse, I'll contact my doctor.
You can report any side effects to the FDA by calling 1-800-332-1088 or visiting https://www.fda.gov/medwatch. This has been super helpful in cases where I've noticed a reaction to medicines.
I've heard that some people get a bit of temporary tooth sensitivity after using high-strength fluoride toothpaste. But it usually goes away after a few uses. It sounds like the side effects can be pretty rare, but you should definitely talk to your doctor if you notice anything odd.
I had a reaction to it a few years ago. I developed hives and had a lot of trouble breathing. Luckily, my doctor was able to diagnose it quickly. I don’t think this is a common reaction, but it’s one of the risks listed. It’s important to stay aware of how your body reacts to new medications.
My dentist told me that some people have a reaction to the fluoride concentration in this toothpaste. If you're worried, ask your dentist for a lower strength fluoride toothpaste, like Prevident 2400.
This is a high-strength fluoride toothpaste, so it's understandable that some people might experience side effects. I had a friend who used it and ended up with a bad taste in her mouth for a few days, but it went away after she stopped using it. Can someone else talk about how long they used it for?
I used Prevident 5000 for about a month and it worked great. My teeth felt so much stronger. I didn't have any side effects so I'm glad I was able to use it. I know it's not for everyone though.
I thought the taste was pretty minty and strong. Is that a new sensation for everyone? Has anyone found a way to make it more enjoyable?
I've been using Prevident 5000 for a few months now and haven't had any issues. My dentist recommended it because I have a history of cavities. I use it twice a day and I haven't noticed any side effects.
