Has anyone experienced severe side effects from using Synalar 0.025% Ointment for eczema or psoriasis?
I've been using Synalar 0.025% Ointment for a few weeks now to treat my eczema, and while it's helped with the itching and redness, I'm a bit concerned about the possible side effects. The list is quite long, and some of them sound really serious. Has anyone else had any bad reactions to this medication? I'm particularly worried about the signs of high blood sugar and weak adrenal glands. Are these common, or am I overreacting? I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with this. I'm not sure how to decide to stop using it or not. Please share!

I didn't know about the high blood sugar signs. I'll keep an eye out for those.
I had some burning and stinging when I first started using it, but it went away after a few days. Nothing too bad.
I had a mild allergic reaction once. It was scary, but I managed it with the help of my doctor. Definitely worth monitoring.
Cushing's syndrome? Really? That's terrifying. I wonder if there are other options out there.
Try to use it sparingly. I only use it when my eczema flares up and it seems to help without the side effects.
I've used Synalar for years and never had any major issues. Just be sure to use it as directed and you should be fine.
Be really careful with this stuff. I got severe dizziness and had to stop using it. Worth a call to your doctor.
If you're worried, talk to your dermatologist. They can give you a better idea of the risks versus benefits for your specific case.
