Has anyone experienced severe side effects from Valacyclovir 500mg Tablets for Herpes?
I was recently prescribed Valacyclovir 500mg Tablets for a herpes outbreak. I've heard some scary stories about potential side effects online, including some rare but serious ones. I just finished my first week on the meds, and so far, so good. But I'm kinda freaked out and wondering if anyone else has had any bad experiences? What should I be on the lookout for besides the obvious? Doctors aren't always the most reassuring when it comes to side effects, so I'd love to hear some real-life stories. I got really bad mood swings while on this. It was like being on an emotional roller coaster. Talked to my doctor about it and they switched me to a different medication. Definitely worth mentioning if it happens to you.
Just remember, everyone’s body reacts differently to medication. What’s a nightmare for one person might be a breeze for another. Just stay vigilant and you’ll be fine!
Feeling really tired has been my side effect. Just feel like I need to sleep all day. Not fun, but I guess it could be worse.
