I've been on Zituvio 50mg Tablets for a few months now to manage my type 2 diabetes, and while it seemed to be working well at first, I've started experiencing some unusual symptoms. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar issues? The medication has helped control my high blood sugar and the natural incretins levels in my body, but I'm a bit worried about some of the side effects I've been reading about. Has anyone experienced severe reactions, especially the skin reactions or kidney problems? I've heard some scary stories about Stevens-Johnson syndrome and bullous pemphigoid. Is it worth switching meds or sticking it out? I just want to make sure I’m making the right decision for my health.

If you're experiencing any of the severe side effects, just go to the ER. It's always better to be safe. I've had friends who thought they could tough it out and ended up really sick.

I've been on Zituvio for a year and haven't had any severe side effects yet. Just the occasional headache, but nothing major.

I had a bad reaction to Zituvio as well. It was skin issues, but not as serious as the syndrome. I had blisters on my skin and my doctor said it could have been bullous pemphigoid. I had to stop taking the medication and found a better alternative.

I think the scary thing about Zituvio is the variety of side effects. From joint pain to severe skin reactions to kidney problems, it's a lot to consider. I’m glad to see others aren’t having as many issues as these comments imply.

Does anyone know if Zituvio interacts badly with other meds? I'm on a few other things and I want to be sure I'm not asking for trouble.

I switched to Zituvio after my doctor recommended it, but I've had to deal with some joint pain. It's not severe, but it's enough to be noticeable. I've been managing it with over-the-counter pain relievers. It's a shame because the medication really helps with my blood sugar levels. I'm wondering if I should talk to my doctor about it.

I've had some issues with low blood sugar since starting Zituvio. It's manageable with glucose tablets, but it's a bit of a hassle. Has anyone else dealt with this issue?

I had a horrible experience with Zituvio. I developed a severe rash and ended up in the hospital with what turned out to be Stevens-Johnson syndrome. It was terrifying. I had to switch medications immediately and my doctor said I should never take any drugs in the same class again.

I was worried about the kidney problems but my doctor said it's mainly a risk if you have a history of kidney issues. I don't, so I'm not too concerned. Still, I monitor my urine output regularly just to be safe.
