Has anyone experienced severe side effects like Cushing's syndrome from Millipred 10mg/5ml Oral Solution?
I've been prescribed Millipred 10mg/5ml Oral Solution for my chronic asthma and I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. The list of serious side effects is quite long, including things like Cushing's syndrome, high blood sugar, and even adrenal gland problems. I've been on Millipred for a few months now and haven't experienced any serious side effects. Just the usual stomach upset and increased appetite. But I've been monitoring my blood sugar levels regularly just to be safe.

Be careful with the increased appetite. I gained 20 pounds in the first month because I couldn't stop eating. Had to switch to a more strict diet to keep the weight off.

I've had the pleasure of experiencing both Cushing's syndrome and adrenal gland problems from Millipred. Not fun, but my doctor switched me to a different medication and I'm doing much better now.
Oh man, I had some serious mood swings when I was on this. It was like having PMS times 10 every day. But my doctor said it was because of the steroid messing with my cortisol levels.
Interesting, I’ve never heard of Millipred before. I wonder why it’s not more widely known since it seems to cover so many conditions. Maybe it's because of the side effects? It might be the same for you if you have allergies, asthma or arthritis
I had a friend who had to switch to Millipred due to adrenal gland problems. Doctors said the medication caused the issues, but it took a very long time to figure out what the right dose should be.
