I took Posaconazole for a few months and didn't experience any major side effects. Just some mild stomach discomfort and a bit of fatigue, but nothing I couldn't handle. Make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body!
I was on Posaconazole for about 6 months. The biggest issue I faced was electrolyte imbalances. I had frequent muscle cramps and felt weak a lot of the time. My doctor recommended a magnesium supplement, which helped a bit. Regular check-ups with blood tests are crucial to monitor your electrolytes.
Be careful with the allergic reactions. Some people have died from this drug because of severe allergic reactions.
I had really bad diarrhea and constipation, and felt very weak. I talked to my doctor and we switched to a different medication. Unfortunately, this didn't work for me.
I had a condition similar to yours. I took the lowest dose and still got side effects. I'd suggest looking into alternative treatments.
I had a friend who developed severe allergic reactions to Posaconazole. He experienced hives and trouble breathing. Definitely seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of those symptoms.
This stuff is no joke. I had liver problems before and now I have to take this but im extra careful and monitor it.
