I've been using Fluticasone 0.005% Ointment for about a month now to manage my eczema, and it's been doing a great job at reducing the redness and itching. However, I've been noticing some burning and stinging sensations. This is not a serious problem so far, but I'm worried about the possibility of more serious side effects. I've read about allergic reactions, high blood sugar, and even adrenal gland issues. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I want to know if I should be concerned or if this is just a normal part of the treatment. It's my first time using Corticosteroids, but I've heard they can save the day but also be a bit unpredictable.

You know what's funny? The doctor told me to use it sparingly. I thought I was going to be allergic to it, but it worked for me.

I've been using it for years with no problems. Just make sure not to overdose on it. It's not a joke.

I've only experienced minor side effects like a bit of skin thinning, but that's it. I've also heard that skin irritation goes away with time. Just another part of the deal. BUT if you're getting any of those serious symptoms, you should totally talk to your doctor.

I use this ointment for my psoriasis and have had no issues. Just make sure you aren't using it too frequently. Follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

I would go for the prescription because this is a much stronger ointment.

Fluticasone got my skin all red and swollen. Look, I'm not saying it's bad but, I think it's a bit overhyped. I found better results in other stuff.

I've had some weird side effects like increased appetite and weight gain, not sure if it's the ointment or just me being lazy.

I had a bad reaction to it. My skin got really irritated, and I ended up with a weird rash. I switched to a different ointment and it's been much better. Definitely talk to your doctor if you're feeling uneasy.

Serious question: can the ointment cause changes in your eyesight? I've been having some weird episodes in stronger lighting.

I've been using Fluticasone for a while and haven't had any serious side effects. The burning and stinging usually go away after a few applications. Just make sure to follow the instructions and consult your doctor if it gets worse.
