I've been prescribed Aptiom 600mg tablets for my partial-onset seizures, and I'm worried about the potential side effects. The list is quite long and scary, but I'm hoping to hear from others who have taken this medication. What are some of the most common issues you've encountered? I'm especially concerned about the severe skin reactions and allergic reactions mentioned in the warning. I'd love to hear from people who have been on this medication for a while and can share their experiences, tips, or any resources that have helped them manage side effects. How do you know when something is serious and requires immediate medical attention? Let's create a community where we can support each other and share useful information.

Be prepared to be exhausted after taking this. I thought the side effects would be manageable, but the fatigue hit hard. Be gentle with yourself.

I'm glad you brought this up, it can be scary. I've experienced mild side effects like dizziness but nothing severe. Just monitor your symptoms and communicate with your doctor regularly.

I've had really bad experiences with other seizure meds, but Aptiom has been a lot easier on me so far. I just hope it stays that way. This thread is full of information, though.

I had some really bad skin reactions. I started getting these small rashes that were really itchy. It was awful. If you start getting any rash, don't ignore it, and rush to your doctor. Trust me!
