Has anyone experienced severe side effects with Octagam (30mg/300ml) Infusion?

I've been prescribed Octagam 30mg/300ml for my immune system issues, and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. The list is quite long, and some of them sound seriously alarming. I'm planning to talk to my doctor about it, but I'm curious if anyone here has any firsthand experience with this drug. What side effects did you experience, and how did you manage them? I'm particularly worried about the allergic reactions and severe lung problems mentioned in the warning. Has anyone had to deal with these? Any insights or advice would be much appreciated!

Has anyone else noticed that the infusion site gets really irritated? I always get a bit of redness and itching there, but it goes away pretty quickly.

Oh man, I remember my aunt had to go to the ER after an infusion because she started having trouble breathing and her lips and face started swelling up. Scary stuff, but she’s doing okay now. Just keep an eye out and don’t hesitate to call the doctor or go to the ER if something feels really off.

I've been on Octagam for a year now, and while it's been mostly okay, I did have a bad reaction the first time I got the infusion. I had chills, fever, and nausea. My doc said it's common for the first time, and it gets better with each infusion. I’ve had to be in contact with them a few times if I don't feel right since then.

I had a friend who was on Octagam for a few months. She didn’t experience any of the more severe side effects, but she did have some nasty headaches and felt really tired after her infusions. It’s a bummer, but she said it was manageable with some rest and over-the-counter pain meds.
