I had to stop taking Xpovio after a few weeks because the side effects were just too severe. I have a weak stomach and the nausea really got to me. I switched to a different treatment and it's been a lot better for me. Good luck to everyone else out there.

These comments are making me want to cancel my appointment with the oncology doc. But then again I've already suffered from this for almost a year now. Can someone who's been through it all and successfully recovered give me some encouragement? I need all the courage I can get.

I recommend keeping a detailed log of everything you experience. My oncologist told me to note every symptom, no matter how small. It really helped in adjusting the dosage and managing side effects.
