I've just been prescribed Aripiprazole 2mg tablets to help manage my symptoms of bipolar disorder. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the more severe ones like neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS). I'm wondering if anyone else here has had experience with this medication? Were the side effects manageable? Did they go away with time? If so, how long did it take? I'd really appreciate any insights or tips on how to cope with these potential side effects. Also, I'm curious about the less severe side effects like dizziness or weight gain—how have people dealt with these? I'm eager to hear from those who have been on this medication and want to know what to expect.

It's important to remember that everyone reacts differently to medication. What works for one person might not work for another.

I had a really bad experience with Aripiprazole. I developed tardive dyskinesia, and it was absolutely terrifying. I had to stop taking it and seek alternative treatments. I'm not saying this will happen to everyone, but it's something to be aware of.

I've been on Aripiprazole for a while, and while it has helped with my symptoms, I've definitely had some issues with dizziness and fatigue. It's been tough, but I've found that taking it at night helps a lot. It's also important to avoid alcohol while on this medication, as it can exacerbate the side effects.

Dizziness was definitely the worst for me, but it went away after a few weeks. I found that eating smaller, more frequent meals helped with the upset stomach.

I've been on Aripiprazole for about a year now, and while I did experience some side effects initially, they've mostly subsided. The key is to keep an open line of communication with your doctor. If something doesn't feel right, speak up. They can adjust your dosage or switch you to a different medication if necessary.

I've heard some horror stories about the side effects, but I've also heard from people who had no issues at all. It's a bit of a gamble, and it's hard to know what to expect.

I've read about an alternative medication that has similar effects but fewer side effects. Maybe someone with more experience can assist me

I found that staying hydrated helped a lot with the dry mouth and nose or throat irritation. It's a small thing, but it made a big difference for me. I used a humidifier at night, which was a game-changer.

I got really severe headaches for the first few weeks, but they went away after my body adjusted to the medication. I also experienced some weight gain, but it was manageable. I've found that regular exercise and a balanced diet help a lot.
