I've been taking Prilosec 10mg Powder Pack 30's for a few weeks now to manage my acid reflux, and I've been wondering if anyone else has experienced significant side effects. The list of possible side effects is quite long, and I'm curious to know if anyone has had issues beyond the common ones like headache or stomach pain. Are there any tips for managing these side effects, or should I be concerned about the more severe reactions mentioned? How common are these side effects, and what should I do if I start to experience something more serious? Any insights or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I had to switch to a different medication because of some serious side effects. It's kind of scary but you should never ignore symptoms. Always talk to your doctor if it feels like the medication is doing more harm than good.

I had a severe allergic reaction to Prilosec a few years back. I broke out in hives and had trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER and was told to avoid it completely. It's scary how quickly it can happen, so be careful!

I had a rough time with diarrhea when I first started, but it got better after a few days. My doctor said it's common and usually goes away. Just make sure to stay hydrated if you go through this.

I've heard mixed things about Prilosec. Some people swear by it, and others have had serious issues. It's always a good idea to keep an eye on how you feel and talk to your doctor if you have concerns.

Another thing to mention: the more severe skin reactions like SJS and TEN are rare but can be life-threatening. Know the signs and get to a doctor immediately if you experience red, swollen, or blistered skin.

I've had no side effects at all, so for me it's been great. But I know everyone's different, so it's worth keeping an eye on how your body reacts.
