I've been prescribed Saphris 2.5mg Sublingual Tablets for my bipolar I disorder. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones like high blood sugar or allergic reactions. Has anyone else experienced these issues? I'd love to hear your stories and any tips on managing them. Also, does anyone know if these side effects are more common in the sublingual form compared to other forms of this medication? Thanks in advance for any insights!

Be really careful with this stuff. I had a friend who ended up in the hospital with some kind of neuroleptic thing. I don't remember the exact name, but it was scary. Also, if you experience any unusual symptoms, don't wait it out—go to the ER.

I've been on Saphris for a year now. I had some trouble with hormonal changes, but my doctor adjusted my dosage and it's been much better.

I switched from the tablet to the sublingual version and it’s been a bit tough. I have to say, the sublingual form can be a bit hard to get used to. I’d recommend taking it first thing in the morning so you can manage any dizziness or drowsiness that comes with it. Just be prepared for a change.

I've been on Saphris for a while and I've had some weight gain and increased appetite, but no major side effects. Just monitor your blood sugar levels regularly and keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction.

Saphris has helped a lot, but with the risks they've mentioned there's no bigger risk than the ones we'll never know. Just use the sublingual tablets right and you'll be fine.

I had a horrible allergic reaction to Saphris after the second dose, I’ll never forget it. I had to go to the ER and I just hope others warned about it. Definitely consult a doctor or seek medical attention if you experience any of the symptoms described. Better safe than sorry.

I’ve been on Saphris for a while and haven’t had any serious side effects, but I do experience some drowsiness. I’m just glad it’s working for my bipolar disorder.

I’ve been on the 2.5mg sublingual tablets for a month and I'm very sensitive to them. I’ve had some minor weight gain and an increase in appetite. Anyone have some tips to manage these side effects?
