I was recently prescribed Aceon 4mg Tablets for my high blood pressure. I've heard it can be effective, but I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. Some of the urgent side effects listed, like signs of an allergic reaction or kidney problems, seem quite serious. I've also seen that some people experience less severe symptoms like dizziness or back pain but want a better idea of how common these are? I'm on the fence about this medication and would love to hear from anyone who's taken it. How often do these side effects occur, and are they worth the risk? Were the side effects able to be mitigated with lifestyle changes or additional meds? Thank you!

I had a really bad reaction to Aceon. I started getting a persistent cough and severe stomach pain. It was so bad I had to go to the ER. Turns out I was having signs of liver issues. Doctor switched me to a different medication and I'm much better now. If you experience anything serious, don't hesitate to get help.

I stopped the pills because of the side effects, but only to find out it was an allergic reaction to the pill's coating, not the actual medication. I'm back on it now and doing much better.

I've been on Aceon for a few months now, and it's been great for my blood pressure. I did experience some dizziness at first, but it went away after a week or so. No other side effects here, and I'm glad I gave it a shot!

I started Aceon a few weeks ago and have been having trouble with some bad coughing fits. I've read that this can be a side effect, but I'm not sure if it's worth sticking with it. I'm going to call my doctor and see what they say, but it's kind of scary right now.

Aceon worked well for me too. If it doesn't work for you, have you asked your doctor about adjusting the dose or adding something else? Sometimes it can just be a matter of tweaking things to find what works best. I've had both of these things happen to me and it's worked out.

My mom has some weird side effects with Aceon, but she's managing. She has to be cautious about her potassium levels and keep a close eye on things, but she's feeling better otherwise. I'm happy with this pill in general, but feel like I have to watch it
