Has anyone experienced tingling in the hands with Plendil 5mg Tablets?
I started taking Plendil 5mg Tablets for high blood pressure a few weeks ago, and I've noticed a strange tingling sensation in my hands. I know it's not one of the listed side effects, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Does anyone know if this is something to be concerned about? Tingling in the hands can sometimes be a sign of nerve issues, but it's not typical for Plendil. You should definitely mention it to your doctor. In the meantime, keep track of when it happens and if it improves or worsens. I'd keep an eye on any changes in what triggers it. If so could be an interaction with food or something else.
Have you been drinking enough water? Sometimes dehydration can cause strange symptoms like this.
If it's a calcium channel blocker side effect, your doctor might switch you to a different class of blood pressure medication, but keep in mind that each class has its own side effects. It might be worth looking up the other class of drugs to know what to expect.
If it's really bothering you, maybe ask your doctor about adjusting the dosage. Sometimes a lower dose can help with side effects. I've been on Plendil 2.5mg and it works great for me. I've never experienced this tingling sensation though.

I had a similar issue with another calcium channel blocker. It turned out to be a magnesium deficiency. Maybe ask your doctor to check your levels?
