Has anyone experienced unusual side effects from Methylpr Ace (Methylprednisolone Acetate) injections?
I've been prescribed Methylpr Ace 40mg/ml Inj, 1ml for my chronic arthritis, and I'm curious if anyone else has had strange side effects. The list of possible reactions is huge, and I'm starting to worry about everything. I've had a bit of restlessness, but it could just be in my head. The worst part for me wasn't the side effects, but the muscle pain. Ended up switching to a different treatment after a few months, and it's been so much better.
I treated my allergic reactions with Methylpr Ace and it worked wonders. Just make sure to watch out for those side effects, though. My doctor gave me a sheet with all the signs to look out for.
Did you know steroids like this can cause Cushing's syndrome? Weight gain, mood swings, and stuff. Definitely something to look out for!
You're not alone. I had some crazy sweating episodes and restlessness too. It’s tough, but my doctor adjusted the dosage, and it’s been manageable since.
I had some pretty intense vision changes with it. Had to talk to the optometrist about it. Ended up stopping the treatment as it was a bit scary.
I had a pretty severe reaction to this stuff. I started to see this weird purple bumps on my skin. Stopped treatment and called my doctor immediately. What a scary experience.
