I've been on Bupropion XL 450mg for about 2 months now, and I've noticed some weight loss. I've read that this can be a side effect, but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced it. How much weight have you lost and how long did it take? It makes me wonder if this medication has different effects on different people. I'm also curious if anyone has experienced any of the more serious side effects like hallucinations or seizures.

I've lost 7 pounds in the last 3 months on Bupropion. Honestly, it was a big help for me. I was feeling like I was losing control and was in a dark place. I'm glad I tried it out and it has been a lifesaver for me. Thanks to my doctor for persisting until she found the right drug. I'm very grateful.

Has anyone noticed if you suddenly stop taking this medication, how long does it take for the effects to wear off? I'm thinking of going off it soon.

I've been on this medication for a while and I haven't experienced any weight loss at all. I am always up for eating food especially when it comes to sweets.

I started losing weight a month after I began taking Bupropion XL 450mg. I've lost about 10 pounds so far, and it's been great for my self-esteem. I also have more energy and motivation to get things done. I did experience some dizziness and headaches in the beginning, but they went away after a few weeks. I've heard that some people experience vivid dreams, but I haven't had that issue.

Bupropion XL is great but it isn't for everyone. It has its own side effects and if you are suffering from them, you need to consult your doctor.

I was actually prescribed this medication for smoking cessation and I have lost about 10 pounds with it over the past two months. I have to be honest, I didn't notice this until someone pointed it out to me. I also feel more motivated and less depressed. I do get some sweating and dry mouth, but it's worth it for the weight loss and mood improvement.

I have been taking Bupropion XL 450mg for about 6 months now, and I haven't noticed any significant weight loss. I do feel more energetic and motivated, but my weight has stayed the same. I have experienced some shaky hands and stomach pain but it has been so much better than the depression. I did have a rash a few weeks ago, but it went away on its own. I'm considering switching to a different medication if this doesn't work out.

Be patient, don't switch too soon. It took me over three months for it to really start working. Once you are in the clear, you need to maintain the dosage for the best results. I did notice I felt better after a couple of weeks, but the real change happened around the 3 month mark.

I absolutely agree with this, I noticed that I am losing weight but I know it is due to the changes in your brain chemistry.
