I was recently prescribed Proventil 4mg Tablets for my asthma. I've been taking them for a week now, and I've noticed some mild shaking and increased nervousness. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar side effects, or if there are any tips to manage them. Also, what should I do if I experience any of the severe side effects listed, like high blood pressure or severe skin reactions?

I had a friend who used Proventil and ended up with severe skin reactions. It was awful. He had to go to the hospital right away. Make sure you're aware of the signs and don't hesitate to seek help if something feels really wrong.

You should definitely talk to your doctor if you're experiencing any severe symptoms like the ones listed. They might adjust your dosage or change your medication completely. But don't skip doses without talking to a doctor, I did that years ago and ended up in the ER.

I've been on Proventil for a while and I haven't had any issues with shaking or nervousness. Maybe it's just your body adjusting to the new medication. If it gets too bad, you should definitely talk to your doctor about it. It might be worth it to keep a log of when you take the medication and how you feel after. You can bring that to your doctor and work together to manage your side effects.

I get it, those pills can be a pain. But they work for me. Drink a glass of water every time you take it. That trick helps with the stomach issues

I get nervous every time I have to take any new medication, but it always turns out fine in the end. Just make sure you're following the prescribed dosages and not taking any extra when you don't need to. The information on the packaging will be vital if you are not sure what you are doing.

I take my medication with food, and it helps a lot with upset stomach. I tried getting around those medications with an inhaler, but I always find myself in the ER. It's a lot easier to just take the meds and keep living my life.

Seriously? I've never heard of anyone having issues with Proventil. You must be one of the rare cases. I took it for years and never had any problems. But yeah, if it's bothering you that much, talk to your doctor. You deserve to feel comfortable.
