I've been struggling with persistent acne and my dermatologist suggested using Sod Sulfacetamide 10% Wash. I know it's used for treating skin conditions like acne, rosacea, and seborrheic dermatitis, but I haven't seen much talk about it on here. Has anyone else tried this? Did you find it effective? I've read the possible side effects list and it's a bit daunting. I'm especially worried about the risk of severe skin reactions. Has anyone had any issues like that?

I had a bad reaction to it. Got a rash all over my face and had to stop using it immediately. I'm not sure if it was an allergic reaction or what, but it was not fun. I'd suggest testing a small area first before committing to it.

I think it really depends on the severity of your condition, and the sensitivity of your skin. My experience has always been that this kind of drug works well on my skin. I had similar concerns about the side effects when I started using it, but I only experienced mild skin irritation which I managed well with moisturizers. I found it a good product with great results for me.

I was worried about the potential for liver problems but my doctor said the risk is very low if used as directed. I've been using it for a couple of months now and haven't had any issues so far. I made sure to wash my face at night and the results are quite good. Just be diligent with application directions.

I used this for a while and it worked great for my rosacea. Just make sure to moisturize afterwards, as it can dry out your skin. But it was a game changer for me, much better than other treatments I've tried.

A friend recommended this and she said to be careful. It's great, but don't use too much or you'll damage your skin. For me, a little goes a long way. If you skin is sensitive, try it on a small area first.

If it helps with acne and rosacea, I am all for it. The wash should clear my skin up. I know some people are concerned about it working but this is why the FDA has a website for people to report their side effects.

I think it’s crazy that this wash is used for acne but also rosacea - that’s pretty inconsistent to me. It’s like medicine for any skin condition. How does that even work?

I just know if it works great for me, you never know what will happen to somebody else. I've been using this for skin problems for a long time and it has worked very well for me.

I had a friend who used this and she said it was the best thing she ever used for her skin. I know some of my friends prefer something with more natural ingredients, but you can't beat the double whammy of anti-inflammatory and antibacterial action with this.
